DuPont Titanium increases price of titanium dioxide products in Latin America ( 9 July 2008 )

On tuesday, DuPont Titanium published a price increase of all DuPont Ti-Pure titanium dioxide grades sold in Latin America, effective June 17, 2008. They said the prices for DuPont coatings, plastics, specialty paper, and laminate titanium dioxide grades would increase aobut 150 USD per ton in Latin America.

They noted the cost of energy and related goods and services have increased by 10% in just a week, forcing it to the unprecedented situation of imposing a second price increase only weeks after announced in June. - By King Titanium
